Best Research Prize
In line with its objectives
to support innovative research in all fields of
knowledge and encourage researchers to publish their
work in refereed scientific periodicals published in
Kuwait, the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of
Sciences (KFAS) awards a prize to the best paper in each
of the fields of sciences and humanities. Prizes are
also awarded to periodicals in which the writing papers
are published. By these prizes, KFAS supports
specialized Kuwaiti periodicals.
Eligible
Research must be
-
Be
published in a Kuwaiti periodical during the
same year in which the prize is awarded,
-
Be
written in English or Arabic,
-
Be
innovative and have a high scientific value,
-
Each prize comprises a cash sum of K.D.
2000 (Two Thousand Kuwaiti Dinars), and a
certificate of recognition outlining the salient
features and the scientific significance of the
winning work,
-
KFAS shield is awarded to the periodical in
which the winning paper was published as well as
a cash sum of K.D.3000 (Three Thousand Kuwaiti
Dinars).
