Program
The previous winners element program links winners of
the Kuwait Prize with local and regional scientific
counterparts.
Objective:
As an objective of th eKuwait Prize subprogram to
"encourage Arab Scientists, inside and outside the Arab
world, to engage in Arab scientific affairs and to
engage among themselves and with others in joint
scientifc works", the foundation is inviting annually a
group of previous winners of the prize to Kuwait, and
possibly to other arab countries, to keep a continous
linkage between these winners and thier counterparts in
Kuwait, and in other Arab countries. The foundation, in
this process, is leveraging thier scientific knowledge
to the benefit of Kuwait and to other regional
countries, and sets out a specific visitation program
for each individual winner, which could include
appointments with local scientific and cultural
institutions, as well as with individual
scientists/researchers.
Ths aims of this continuous process are as
follows:

Strengthening communications between previous
winners and the foundation.

Setting out a stage for scientists, authors,
literates, artistes, and all others with scientific
interests to participate in discussions and dialogs
to further the development of national issues.

Strengtheing
scientific ties between scientists and researcher,
locally, regionally and internationally, for common
interests, no matter nationalities or believes.

Giving out the opportunities for Kuwaiti local
institutions to interact with high level scientists
and researchers to develop their own systems,
procedures, and products, according newest
development in the wolrd.
Through this process the foundation encourges
winners to do any of the following:

Give a lecture on specific filed of specialization,
encompassing new developments in the field.

Give consultation to individuals and institutions in
specific field of interest and on management and
organizational matters.

Form a team with individuals and institutions,
jointly to work on specific project(s) of mutual
interest.
-
Exchange scientifc information, presently and
throughout the communcation systems.
-
Sponsor researchers and students in own and oter
outside research/educational institutions.
