Research Grant Manual

Applicants must ensure that
documents submitted for consideration are neatly
prepared, clearly defined, thoroughly reviewed, and
sufficiently developed to enable the Foundation to
assess the true merits of projects. Applicants are
requested to abide by the following:

Submit three printed copies of
the proposal document together with the
Research
Grant Forms 1-7.

Applications should be
submitted at least two (2) months prior to the
project’s anticipated starting date, to allow normal
processing of proposed projects. All applications
for research grants should be submitted either

How to write Proposal (Proposal
Preparation and Submission)
The proposal and annexed
research
grant forms 1 to 7 are vital documents upon which a
decision for grant award is to be made. They represent
the final basis for selection. Therefore, proper care
should be taken while preparing and submitting it. In
particular, the applicant should ensure that information
is sufficiently and clearly developed to persuade the
Foundation that the project has a high potential of
success and outcome. The proposal should attempt to:

Conform to KFAS program
outline.

Contain originality and
credibility.

Specify the importance
and utility of the venture to society.
