KFAS library was established in 1992. It is a small a specialized library that its basic collection contains all the publications issued by KFAS such as books, researches, periodicals and KFAS prize winner books. In addition, the library’s collection contains other non- KFAS publications like reference books, scientific books, researches, conference papers, bulletins, and Arabic & foreign periodicals. The main goal is to provide information services from its own resources.

KFAS library serves its employees as well as visitors from Kuwait University, Public Authority for Applied Education & Training and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education. The visitors usually are students, academicians and researchers.

KFAS library also serves visitors from out side the state of Kuwait who are helped by the library through providing them with the required information and the necessary answers for their questions. The library also answers any enquiry that may raised by researchers from outside Kuwait by telephone, fax airmail and e-mails. The electronic-search via internet is available in the KFAS library since 1995.

KFAS Library services

 The following are among other services provided by the KFAS library:

• Auto-search from electronic sources, CD ROM’s and internet.

• Finding information from KFAS publications, and reference books.

• Information enquiries through E-mail services (l)

• Providing the schools of the Ministry of Education in Kuwait  with broad range of information that may be required for students’ research.

• Interlibrary loan from local libraries.

• Audio visual materials from film library.

• Colour and non-colour photocopy services for clients.
