KFAS Director General Dr. Khaled Al-Fadhel said “This campaign translates the Foundation’s commitment to contribute to supporting the estimated efforts of the Ministry of Health and other relevant public entities and ministries in combating the pandemic. It is also an initiative that falls in line with the State’ strategy to reach community immunity and accelerate the process of returning to normal life.”

Dr. Al-Fadhel also expressed his deep appreciation for His Excellency the Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Bassel Al-Sabah and the Ministry of Health’s officials for responding to the Foundation’s call to conduct an internal vaccination campaign, and their keenness to send a specialized team with the necessary vaccines to conduct this campaign efficiently.

“This internal vaccination campaign organized at The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC), one of the Foundation’s subsidiaries, aims also to support the Ministry of Health call for the public to register in the vaccination platform and take the vaccine in one of the specialized health centers or the temporary centers established by the Ministry in different areas of the country to help reduce the number of infections and deaths and consequently put an end to this pandemic” Dr. Al-Fadhel added.

He also added that the Foundation has issued a special edition of “Al-Oloum” Journal, that included topics exclusively related to vaccines. A number of prominent Arab experts specialized in this field have contributed to the articles of this special issue.
